School Day
The school day is divided into five periods each one hour long - giving 25 periods in a school week.

Pupils are required to be in school from 08:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday. In addition, pupils in Years 10–13 may have a timetabled Period 6 lesson which runs from 3:15 pm to 4:15pm, Monday to Thursday. Attendance at any timetabled Period 6 lesson is expected.
Period 6 may be cancelled on occasion if there is a whole-school event, such as a parents’ evening or staff training.
In total, pupils are required to attend school for 32.5 hours per week.
